Bakhtapur Monastery

I remember in 74, the Pujari Math (hindu monastery) with it’s wonderful wood carved windows with peacock, at this period it was just a monastery, dark and dirty. In 1979 it was restored by german experts as a gift to the king Birendra for his wedding. In 2014 , it was a museum dedicated to wood handicraft, so interesting, rich of explanations about the skill of the nepali people who knew how to use wood of the wide forests around in XV century.
